Job Responsibilities : Development and implementation of inventory management strategies to optimize import material availability and minimize transport costs.Analyse demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.Utilize SAP ERP system to track materials, generate reports, and assist in data analysis for decision-making.Support the development of inventory replenishment strategies and inventory optimizationParticipate in supplier relationship management to ensure quality and timely delivery of materialsLead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficienciesMonitor supplier delivery performance and ensure timely consolidation at freight forwarder for collected materials while ensuring containerutilization is maintained to reduce freight costs and on time deliveryAdhering to inventory budget and KPI'sJob Requirements : Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain ManagementMinimum of 3 years in import material planning within an automotive industryMinimum of 1 year purchasing experienceKnowledge and Skills requiredStrong understanding of demand forecasting and import materials requirements planningUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturingQuality systems in the automotive industryGeneral Logistics / Transport knowledgeKnowledge of supply chain optimization techniques and methodologiesCommunication and interpersonal relationshipStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesExperience with ERP systems, such as SAPand MS Excel
