Job SummaryA highly skilled and experienced farm maintenance manager is required to oversee the upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, and irrigation systems across a rural property.Main Responsibilities : Manage, inspect, and maintain all mechanical, electrical, and irrigation systems / equipment / vehiclesOversee building maintenance and small-scale construction or upgrade projectsCoordinate and lead a team of tradespeople, contractors, and general labourersPlan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all critical systems and machineryTroubleshoot and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtimeKey Requirements : Relevant trade test qualifications preferredStrong background in mechanical and electrical systemsA minimum of 10 years within the maintenance fieldSolid understanding of electrical systems (including panel wiring), motors, drives, and mechanical componentsDesirable Skills : VSD / PLC drives experienceExperience in an agricultural, horticultural, or rural infrastructure settingUnderstanding of solar and generator systemsCertification in workplace safety or project managementAbout Us : Farm Manager SA seeks a dedicated and organized individual to manage our farm's maintenance operations.
