Dispatch Support Coordinator (USA Healthcare) - After Hours EST (Remote)

Join our team serving a U.S.-based long-term care laboratory . You’ll work closely with their dispatch and operations teams to coordinate medical sample pick-ups, communicate with healthcare facilities and drivers, and ensure smooth, on-time deliveries across the New York and New Jersey areas.

Role Overview :

As a Dispatch Support Coordinator , you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day logistics operations for our client’s laboratory services. This role goes beyond simple scheduling - you’ll be responsible for handling late call-ins, route adjustments, and real-time problem-solving to ensure efficient pick-up coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, quick-thinking, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

PLEASE NOTE :

• Working Hours : This role requires you to work EST hours Mon - Fri from 6 : 00pm to 12 : 00am EST (1 : 00am to 7 : 00am South African time - subject to change in accordance with daylight savings in the United States as well as the operational requirements of the Company).
• You will be required to work on both South African and US public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA)
• Internet Requirements : A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup : A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages . Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment : This is a fully remote working role.
