Job descriptionPlanning, organizing, coordinating and controlling the production of the company to ensure that the highest production standards are maintained at the lowest cost Quality policy and assurance procedure manuals Implement measures to ensure that various workshops are properly managed and controlled in order to ensure that projected profits margins and growth is achieved Provide controls to ensure that the company's production resources are correctly allocated, utilized and directed towards providing quality products that meet the requirements and project delivery dates Provide timely responses to both internal and external customers Determine and recommend improvements to systems and to provide technical support
Key requirement
- Good general knowledge of pump applications, fundamentals, operations and components
- High acumen for engineering concepts and mechanical engineering
- 5-10 years in a production environment overseeing the production facility from a design, planning and operating perspective. Exposed to business planning
- Product and material knowledge, metallurgy experience an advantage
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings
- Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Project management
- Previous experience with ERP systems
