Requirements :

Grade 12 or equivalent

Two (2) to Three (3) years relevant experience

Valid Code B drivers license

Advance driving course will be an added advantage

Protocol and Etiquette Training Course will be an added advantage

Fire Arms Competency Certificate in terms of the Fire Arms Control Act

VIP Protection Course will be an added advantage

Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with minimum supervision

NB : Recommended candidate will be subjected to criminal vetting

The successful applicant / candidate must possess competencies as published in Annexure A of the Local Government : Municipal Staff Regulations promulgated in Government Gazette 45181 of 20 September 2021

VIP Protection and Risk Management

Day to day route planning

Occupational Health & Safety Management

Identify suspicious behavior or unauthorized people

Prevent potential threats of disruption

Stay constantly alert to react to threatening situations

Check out and secure premises before Executive Mayor enters
