Manager - Artificial Intelligence Information Security

Join us to apply for the Manager - Artificial Intelligence Information Security role at MTN.As the Manager - AI Information Security, you will be responsible for implementing and managing advanced information security strategies that safeguard sensitive data and AI-driven systems.

Your role will include mitigating cyber threats, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering trust in AI solutions.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into AI solutions, create awareness of security best practices, and manage security incidents and vulnerabilities.

This leadership position places you at the forefront of promoting a security culture within the organization.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement the overall AI information security framework and strategy.Establish security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards for AI infrastructure and solutions.Embed risk management standards and practices, integrating emerging trends and threat intelligence.Monitor and manage AI incident response and security frameworks.Collaborate with AI / ML engineers and data scientists to ensure security controls are integrated into models and workflows.Provide ongoing security consultation, threat modeling, and risk assessments.Ensure compliance with data privacy laws, security regulations, and industry standards.Drive security awareness training across teams.Manage security tools and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Report security status, incidents, and compliance activities to leadership.Coordinate with external vendors to ensure third-party AI systems comply with security policies.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.4+ years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity, preferably in AI / ML environments.Experience managing security programs in telecommunications or related sectors.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards.Expertise in AI / ML security, data privacy, and cloud security.Proficiency with security tools and methodologies such as penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.Preferred Skills : Relevant certifications in Information Security or Cybersecurity.If you are passionate about securing AI systems and driving digital trust, we encourage you to apply.Closing date : 8th July.
