Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

Ensuring adherence to site-specific and overall Anglo American standards.

Multi-disciplinary team management

Strategic Asset management including planned maintenance and common reliability practices

Safety Management

Labour structure and training management

Effective Budgeting Controls (OPEX and CAPEX)

Management of Major shutdowns

Oversee projects (within limit of authority)

Ensuring adherence to Legal compliance

Manage rotables and spares

Carry out 1st ,2nd and 3rd line maintenance on HME.

This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Resident Engineer.

Qualifications :

Engineering related degree or Diploma

Government Certificate of competency in Mines and Works

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Five years post Engineering qualification experience

Trackless Mobile machinery (HME) experience will be advantageous

Proficient in computer literacy – Microsoft office

Proficiency in English
