Freight Controller

As a Freight Controller at Nile Fresh (Pty) Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics of product transportation.Your primary focus will be to ensure that all freight operations are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule the transportation of goods from suppliers to customersManage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate rates and contractsTrack shipments and resolve any issues related to delays or damagesMaintain accurate records of freight transactions and logistics costsProvide regular reports on logistics performance and cost savings initiativesRequirementsPrevious experience as a Freight Controller or in a similar logistics roleStrong knowledge of freight management processes and transportation regulationsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in logistics software and toolsAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesBachelor degree is preferred.We offer a competitive remuneration package, opportunities to develop your career within a fast-growing company, a modern and fun work environment, and exposure to cutting-edge technology reshaping the industry.
