JOB TITLE : Quality ManagerREPORTING TO : DirectorLOCATION : East London / King Williams Town, Eastern CapeTRAVEL : Required within the Eastern Cape region; must be willing to sleep out when necessaryAVAILABILITY : ImmediatePOSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of our Quality Management System across multiple production sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with SANS standards, and providing laboratory support to monitor the quality of aggregates and final concrete products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, implement, and maintain the companys Quality Management SystemConduct inspections and laboratory testing in accordance with SANS standards (SANS , , , )Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory complianceImplement and monitor quality control plans and process improvementsIdentify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvementEnforce compliance with industry regulations and internal standardsCollaborate with site teams to ensure consistent application of quality protocols across all production yardsProvide training and guidance on quality procedures to site personnelContribute to successful audit outcomes through diligent preparation and system maintenanceMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation : Grade 12Tertiary Training / Certifications : SCT 24; knowledge and application of SANS , , , ; laboratory testingExperience : Minimum 7 years of field experience in quality control within the construction or concrete manufacturing sectorLanguage Proficiency : English (verbal and written)Drivers Licence : Code B (Required)SKILLS & COMPETENCIESIn-depth knowledge of SANS standards and quality systemsStrong data analysis and technical reporting capabilitiesExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesConfident communicator and effective leader responsible for managing quality across 5+ sitesAbility to work under pressure and enforce regulatory codes and internal conductHighly motivated, mature, and accountable with sound decision-making skillsStrong documentation and process alignment capability
