Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; 8–10 years of professional experience in data management or information governance; Strong knowledge of governance maturity models and best practices, ideally within financial services or regulatory environments; Proven ability to engage stakeholders and drive cultural change around information use and security. Conduct maturity assessments of information governance and security across the organisation; Develop and implement governance standards, processes, and procedures aligned to strategic objectives; Update and maintain tools and methodologies supporting the information strategy; Facilitate information sharing agreements, classification alignment, and vetting protocols; Embed governance practices into business processes, project lifecycles, and analysis frameworks; Define and track metrics to monitor governance effectiveness and support compliance; Build organisational capability through training, enablement, and stakeholder engagement; Guide integration of AI governance into broader information governance processes; Support remediation efforts and provide ongoing advisory services across business units; Contribute to the development of artefacts such as data dictionaries, glossaries, catalogues, and lineage.
