Application Architect

A really well established financial company in Johannesburg are looking for an Application Architect to join their team!Minimum Requirements : Work Experience8 years' of work experience in an IT Production environment, managing, analysing and designing Applications using the frameworks TOGAF and ITIL, of which;5 years' of business and IT analysis work experience; and3 years' of experience in Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Architecture tools (iServer preferred) and object-oriented designMinimum Requirements : EducationComputer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualificationArchitecture Certificate / Experience : TOGAFKey Performance Areas (KPAs)Manage the strategic alignment and the design of the application strategy and architecture, system layouts and the application roadmapOversee the governance for applications, including policy management, standards definition and auditsIdentify application standardisation and rationalisation opportunitiesReport on the application portfolio and changesPartner with the Finance Department to determine Total Cost of Ownership for applications
