Job descriptionOperate heavy-duty vehicles to transport freight between hubs and key distribution points. Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all road laws and company protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical readiness and roadworthiness. Secure cargo to prevent shifting, loss, or damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, hours. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and route schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and report delays, issues, or incidents promptly. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and fault troubleshooting where necessary. Uphold customer satisfaction by following company freight handling procedures. 3- axle, 14.5m dry or refrigerated (perishable) trailers, OR 6m x 12m tautliner trailers Valid Code 14 Driver’s License Valid PDP Clear criminal and driving record Driving jobs
