A trade test (diesel mechanic) and 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role in the agricultural industry is essential, with solid knowledge of agricultural machinery, including tractors.

Potential candidates should have excellent fault-finding skills and be able to work independently.

Strong leadership and management skills are essential.
