The role requires a high level of accuracy and effective communication, as they liaise with the bank.Key Performance Areas : Assist in maintaining the company profile with the business banker.Maintain a register of signatories on all bank accounts.Keep a register of all bank accounts, credit, and petrol cards in the company's name, ensuring timely replacement of expired cards.Load and process all BST payment registers, COD, and foreign payments via internet banking, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment processes.Upload all "EFT Payment" documentation onto BST.Record foreign transaction exchange rates and advise management of potential gains.Distribute remittances and proof of payments to administrators.Prepare weekly bank reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are cleared within 30 days.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all bank accounts, with reconciling items cleared within 30 days.Maintain accurate files for all transactions on each bank account.Prepare and distribute daily bank balance listings.Inform branches of low account balances to prevent overdrafts.Assist sectors with performance bond, Reserve Bank approvals, and hedging requests, maintaining relevant registers and ensuring timely actions.Maintain a register and files of all debit orders, performance bonds, Reserve Bank approvals, and forward exchange contracts.Prepare investment templates for management approval.Benchmark interest rates bi-annually to ensure optimal returns on investments.Review bank charges monthly for reasonableness, investigating significant variances.Prepare reports and schedules related to Treasury activities.Process all loan transactions on BST and reconcile monthly.Reconcile all bank-related income statement accounts monthly.Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management.
