ROLE DESCRIPTION : This is a full-time, on-site role as a digital copywriter at WBWR, located in Somerset West.

As a Copywriter, you will create engaging and impactful marketing copy, write and edit content, develop new brand voices, and contribute to digital marketing initiatives.

Your day-to-day tasks may include crafting persuasive advertisements, creating compelling brand narratives, and optimising content for various marketing channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES : ? Develop high-quality, SEO-optimised content for e-commerce websites, including product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, and blog posts.

  • Create engaging and persuasive copy for digital marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, social media ads, and PPC campaigns, to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and developers, to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform content strategy and messaging.
  • Tailor content to target audience demographics, preferences, and pain points, utilising data-driven insights to optimise performance.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce marketing and copywriting, continuously refining skills and techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS : ? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.

  • Proven experience (5 years) as a marketing copywriter within a digital marketing agency, focusing on e-commerce marketing on all channels.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a mastery of grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimisation.
  • Proficiency in crafting persuasive copy that drives action and conversion across various digital channels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for understanding consumer behaviour.
  • BENEFICIAL : ? Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce) and familiarity with product listing optimisation.

  • Experience writing for paid media, organic social media and SEO.
