Description

  • An exciting opportunity is available for 2x Regional Operations Officer, reporting to the Group Chief Operations Officer.
  • The successful candidate is expected to provide strategic and operational support for efficient and effective management of existing Group Hospitals as well as Greenfield Projects.
  • Critical Outputs

  • Efficient management of operations and projects in areas of responsibility by achieving agreed profitability and efficiency targets (cashflow, productivity).
  • Support the hospital commissioning team pre-operationally and ensure smooth transition to complete oversight once the facility is operational.
  • Develop a business strategy to ensure business growth with focus on hospital occupancy in relation to licensed beds- optimizing utilization of assets, expand doctor base and service offering.
  • Effective reporting on operational and financial outcomes in focus areas and develop action plans.
  • Develop complimentary business lines in accordance with business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Doctor recruitment, retention and succession in conjunction with hospital teams.
  • Collaborate with functions in the business to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Operational and HIS system integration with the aim to provide a reliable base for the business intelligence initiatives within the organization.
  • Requirements

  • Relevant NQF Level 8 qualification.
  • Proven leadership as a senior manager in healthcare or related industry.
  • Driver’s license and ability to travel.
  • Relevant experience and technical skills to meet critical outputs.
  • Understanding of the private healthcare industry and applicable legislation.
  • Computer proficiency especially in Microsoft Programmes (Excel) and a base understanding of data reporting and Business Intelligence reports
