A top Mining Company based in the Northern Cape Province, has a great opportunity for a Rock Engineer. This role will implement and co-ordinate the Geotechnical operations as per client needs and organisational requirements and giving assistance to the Superintendent : Geotechnical in providing a geotechnical service to mine management in both underground and surface environments. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• COM Certificate in Strata Control
• COM Certificate in Rock Mechanics.
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in and knowledge of the Geotechnical / Mining field.
• Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Software skills in CAD and database management (Intermediate)
• Leadership Development Programme (LDP) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver's license
