Manager - Artificial Intelligence Information Security

The Manager - AI Information Security will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and management of advanced information security strategies and frameworks that safeguard sensitive data and AI-driven systems.The role will mitigate cyber threats, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, and foster trust in AI-driven solutions.

The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into AI solutions, create awareness around information security best practices, and actively manage security incidents and vulnerabilities to minimize potential risks to the business.

The Manager will be at the forefront of the organization's efforts to promote a culture of security.Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the role will ensure the successful protection of AI data and systems while driving innovation and maintaining high cybersecurity standards across the business.ValuesWe at MTN are a purpose and value-led organization committed to understanding our people's needs and aspirations, creating positive work experiences, and fostering an environment where every member of our Y'ello Family is heard, understood, and empowered to live an inspired life.Our values keep us grounded, honest, and aligned with our mission to create an exciting and rewarding workplace where our people can thrive, innovate, and achieve meaningful results.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and implementation of the overall information security framework and strategy focused on AI systems.Develop and implement AI information security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards across AI infrastructure, platforms, and solutions.Embed best-in-class AI information security risk management standards and practices, integrating emerging trends and threat intelligence.Monitor the development and implementation of AI Incident Response and Management frameworks.Work closely with AI / ML engineers and data scientists to ensure security protocols are integrated into AI models and workflows.Provide ongoing consultation on secure coding practices, threat models, and risk assessments.Ensure continuous compliance with data privacy laws, security regulations, and industry standards.Drive security awareness and training programs across teams.Oversee deployment and management of security monitoring tools, and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Report security status, incidents, and risks to senior leadership.Coordinate with external vendors to ensure third-party AI systems comply with security policies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.Relevant certifications in Information Security or Cybersecurity (preferred).4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with proven experience in managing AI / ML security environments.SkillsDeep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards.Expertise in AI / ML security, data privacy, and cloud security.Strong understanding of penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk management.Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and AI-related security solutions.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
