This role aims to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets, mitigate security risks, and foster a culture of security awareness and compliance across the organizationIf you are passionate and have ambition to grow within InfoSec at Massmart then this opportunity is for you.Requirements : Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications and Experience required for this position : Strategic Thinking & Planning : Develop and execute long-term security strategies aligned with business goals.Business Acumen : Understand and communicate the business impact of security decisions.Executive Communication : Effectively present security risks and strategies to senior management.Leadership Agility : Adapt leadership style to different situations and foster collaboration.Change Management : Lead and manage organizational change related to security initiatives.Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.Technical Proficiency : Possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and best practices.Incident Response : Lead and coordinate effective responses to security incidents.Threat Intelligence : Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilitiespliance Knowledge : Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team.Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.Vendor Management : Manage third-party security vendors and ensure compliance with standards.Negotiation & Influence : Effectively negotiate and influence security-related decisions.Education and ExperienceA Post grad degree in computer science, information security, information systems, or a closely related field is the minimum requirement.

A master's degree or MBA with a focus on IT security would be highly advantageous, Understanding of COBIT FrameworkA minimum of 10 years of experience cyber security programs, audits, assessments, risk, remediation, or cyber security compliance management., with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership rolepetencies and SkillsStrategic Planning : Executive CommunicationChange ManagementDecision-Making Under PressureLeadership & Team Building : Security Architecture & EngineeringCompliance & Regulatory KnowledgeThreat Intelligence & Vulnerability Management : "Employment Equity Policy Requirements may be applicable"If you don`t hear from us within 14 days please consider your application unsuccessful.
