Job Description

A rapidly growing motor dealership group with multiple branches is looking for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join its dynamic head office team. This is a centralised payroll function that supports multiple dealerships across the group, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex, and highly rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Payroll Processing

  • Full-function monthly payroll processing on Sage VIP Premier
  • Capture all inputs : new hires, terminations, adjustments, loans, perks tax, etc.
  • Ensure statutory deductions and tax directives are applied correctly

Perks Tax & Fringe Benefits

  • Calculate employee loan perks tax and fringe benefits for company vehicles
  • Third-Party Reconciliations

  • Reconcile and prepare payments for medical aids, MIBCO, and provident funds
  • Generate payment files for approval and coordinate with accounts
  • HR Systems & Portals

  • Maintain accurate employee records on Liberty and MIBCO portals
  • Capture new engagements, terminate coverage, and ensure accurate submissions
  • MIBCO & Compliance Management

  • Handle all MIBCO submissions and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Load and prepare EMP201 submissions for SARS review
  • Assist with STATSA , EE , and BBBEE reports
  • HR & Operational Support

  • Work closely with HR Administrators at branch level
  • Resolve payroll queries and ensure prompt adjustments and feedback
  • Support audit, reporting, and year-end payroll processes
  • System Administration

  • Perform monthly backups and rollovers on Sage VIP
  • Maintain system accuracy, readiness, and integrity
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-function payroll role
  • Motor industry payroll experience (advantageous)
  • Proficient in Sage VIP Premier ; experience with ESS , MIBCO , and Liberty portals preferred
  • Solid understanding of payroll legislation, perks tax, SARS, and third-party payments
  • Experience in a multi-branch or group-level payroll environment
