Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Recruitment Business Developer to join a dynamic UK-based recruitment team. This remote role, based in South Africa, focuses on client acquisition and account development, playing a crucial part in growing our client base across key international markets. You’ll identify hiring needs, pitch tailored recruitment solutions, and build lasting partnerships — all while working closely with delivery teams to ensure excellent candidate fulfilment.
This is a sales-driven 360 recruitment role with a clear focus on new business generation and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proactively source and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Conduct virtual meetings with hiring managers to build rapport, understand recruitment needs, and present service offerings.
- Research and target specific markets to build a qualified sales pipeline.
- Use LinkedIn, job boards, CRM / ATS platforms, and marketing campaigns to reach decision-makers.
- Keep CRM systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Vincere) updated with accurate contact information, sales notes, and activity records.
- Collaborate with internal resourcing teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of candidates.
- Negotiate commercial terms and recruitment fees with new clients.
- Achieve and exceed KPIs including :
- Weekly / monthly new client meetings
- Roles secured
- Fees billed
- Conversion ratios from meetings to signed terms
Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a recruitment business development role , ideally within an agency.Demonstrated experience dealing with international clients or global recruitment markets .Strong background in B2B consultative sales.Familiar with recruitment CRM / ATS systems.Excellent ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships.Proven history of meeting and exceeding revenue and activity targets.Access to a reliable internet connection and a personal laptop or desktop computer .Screening Questions (LinkedIn) :
