YOUR SUPPLIER OF LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL BOARDS AND FITTINGSJob Opening : Sales Consultant – AlbertonTo assist walk-in, online, and telephone customers in a timely, positive, friendly, and efficient manner, maximizing sales opportunities as per group Standard Operating Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities : Implement all standard operating procedures adopted by the company in sequence.Provide accurate customer services through quality checks and follow-up calls.Address customer concerns and resolve them promptly and professionally.Generate sales through face-to-face, electronic, or telephone contact, and respond to inquiries quickly.Keep all regular and routine customers updated regarding product and service changes.Ensure priority customers are called daily before 8 : 30 am to confirm orders.Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the Branch Managermunicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and customer feedback to the sales supervisor or branch manager.Accurately capture cutting lists and ensure they are signed by customers.Print and attach approvals received via WhatsApp or email to the order.Identify sales potential and upsell higher-value products where appropriate.Promote slow-moving and dead stock items as highlighted by the branch manager.Update quotation tracker until the order is confirmed and paid.Find at least 2 new customers per month and seek new business opportunities.Maintain and label showrooms correctly.Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of sales counters and workspace.Actively promote monthly broad sheet items to drive sales.Respond to all customer queries received via email or telephone within two hours.Add all offcut sizes in Cutrite as a size / component.Use default PBC reply templates when responding to emails or online queries.Send out online quotation requests before COB on the same day received.Assist all in-store customers before lunch or leaving for the day.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : Proficient in Google Apps and MS Office (Excel, Word).Excellent customer service skills, both externally and internally.Good understanding of product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling.At least one year of general sales experience.Ability to work independently and in a team.Own transport.Energetic and confident.Willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.Education and Qualifications : Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.Sales certificate / diploma is advantageous.Mandatory Requirements : Minimum 12 months sales experience.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.Good physical health.Application Process : Apply for the position by providing your Name, Surname, Email, uploading your SA ID and CV, indicating your Grade 12 / Matric percentage, relevant tertiary qualification, current CTC salary, salary expectations, and motivation for suitability.
