About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a sharp, resourceful, and execution-oriented Management Consultant to serve as a strategic right hand to the Founder of a growing portfolio company builder actively acquiring and scaling businesses across sectors like construction, manufacturing, and tech-enabled services.
This role offers a rare opportunity to apply top-tier consulting skills in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll work across multiple business units and contribute directly to financial analysis, strategic planning, board-level communications, and M&A integration.

What You’ll Do
Strategy & Analysis
Develop clear, actionable insights from data to support founder-led decision-making
Own financial modeling , forecasting, and scenario planning across multiple business units
Conduct deep-dive market research , competitive analysis, and operational benchmarking
Design and deliver board-level presentations, investor reports , and strategic updates
Business Operations & Execution
Work across 2–3 core businesses (e.g., luxury wood manufacturing, construction services, tech-enabled consulting )
Translate strategic priorities into playbooks, SOPs, and cross-functional projects
Support key metrics tracking and executive dashboards to guide performance
M&A & Integration Support
Contribute to acquisition modeling, financial due diligence , and integration planning
Analyze new business opportunities and risks during pre-acquisition review
Assist in aligning new entities to group-wide financial and operational standards
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
Mastery of financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint , and business case development
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of P&L drivers, ROI, and valuation
Excellent English communication skills , especially in crafting executive-level content
Proven ability to work autonomously and handle shifting priorities in entrepreneurial settings
Based in South Africa or Latin America , with overlap to U.S. business hours
Bonus Points
Experience working directly with founders, PE-backed companies, or SMB leadership
Exposure to acquisition integration, operational turnaround, or growth playbook development
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, Monday.com , or BI platforms
Background in verticals like manufacturing, construction, or tech-enabled services
