Quality ControllerReference : HBG-BM-1Eskort is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, organized individual to join the Heidelberg site as a Quality Controller.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in development and maintenance of the Food Safety Management SystemAssisting in and performing Food Safety internal audits (HACCP & GMP)Filling and documentation, record control.Manage pest controlPrepare documentation for ExportArrange product samplingManage personal hygiene programManage maintenance and cleaning scheduleConduct daily pre-ops checklistVerification of recordsCreate COCMonitoring of cold chainsManage NCR and customer complaintsEnsure compliance with the SOPs for handling productEnsure product moves through warehouse in an efficient mannerInvestigate any quality and food safety issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolvedEnsure blast freezing process is controlled and managedExperience1-2 years' Experience in the Food Industry in Quality Assurance and Food Safety.Worked in cold chain warehouse.QualificationsNational Diploma / Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Consumer Science, Quality management or equivalent qualification is essential.Grade 12Certification in PRP, HACCP and FSSC would be advantageous.Additional RequirementsAnalytical / investigative nature.Audit and compliance knowledge.GMPs Knowledge.Meat processing regulations knowledgepetenciesDocumenting Facts.Thinking Analytically.Interpreting Data.Articulating Information.Recovering from Setbacks.Meeting Deadlines.Attention to Detail.Planning & Organising.
