Service Manager Job Description

The key role of a Service Manager is to engage with clients in the initial stages of new requests for proposals (RFPs), thoroughly complete compliance reviews, develop solutions for clients, and provide them with a commercial proposal for their project.

The aim of this role is to ensure that clients ultimately use us for all of their shipping needs.

Role Responsibilities :

Bespoke quoting : Conduct compliance reviews on new requests, collaborating with Research and Development and external parties to investigate shipment compliance requirements.

Project Management : Oversee the import of supplies for global clinical trials.

Coordination : Work with various internal support teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Flexibility and Innovation : Present novel solutions and processes to meet client needs.

Project Handover : Provide comprehensive project handovers to the service team once live or continue oversight.

Customer Relationship Management : Liaise with an international client pool, develop relationships, and manage key projects.

Client Communication : Conduct calls to overview pre-compliance requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Escalations and Deal Conversion : Handle exceptional escalations and convert deals effectively.

Qualifications and Experience :

Professional Qualification (CA or Lawyer).

Strong academic background.

Desired Competencies :

Analytical skills and numerical strength.

Ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.

Personable and adaptable nature.

Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and effective task prioritization.

Creative problem-solving and research skills.

Good business acumen.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
