Amaro Foods City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South AfricaWarehouse ManagerAmaro Foods City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from Amaro FoodsWe are looking for a dynamic, innovative, customer centric individual to join theWarehouse Team at Amaro Foods in Epping.PURPOSEResponsible for overseeing the entire operation of a warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe storage and distribution of goodsKEY PERFOMANCE OUTPUTSAssist Plant Manager in compiling data for annual budgetsManaging warehouse budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.Lead and coordinate the sites periodic stock take sessions, ensuring we remain within our targeted variance percentagesHave a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of stock, ensuring that goods and stock flow safely, smoothly and consistently in and out of the warehouse facility to customersOptimizing warehouse layout, storage space utilization, and workflow to improve efficiency.Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companiesInspecting and overseeing the maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.Ensuring that all equipment is in safe working conditionGenerating reports & analyzing data as required by relevant business practicesUse data & analysis to Identifying areas for improvement.Managing stock levels, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.Maintain stock loading turnaround timeCoordinate the use of automated and computerized systems to optimize efficiencySupervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance and progress to ensure productivity & other targets are metBuild team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets and objectivesPlanning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse as per agreed team structures (organogram)Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining a safe work environment (OSHA)Ensure compliance to all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping and pest controlParticipate in personal hygiene checksLive the brand by living our core valuesAlways striving to do your bestTECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCENational Diploma in Logistics or WarehousingMinimum 3-5 years' experience in warehouse managementStrong stock control managementThorough understanding of warehousingAPPLICATION AND QUERIESTo be considered, please apply with a copy of your most recent CV to
