MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on all relevant systems, infrastructure, and equipment in the locality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform technical jobs within the locality

Perform administration duties within the technical function

Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality

Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality

Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects : Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent and Trade test certification : Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

OR NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level

ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION

Wireman's licence : (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase : more than 5 years' experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

More than 3 years' of Mediclinic electrical experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Maintenance and repair of electrical systems

Test equipment and devices

Heating and air conditioning systems

Fault finding and troubleshooting

Electrical regulations and guides

Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems

Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OHS and ISO)

Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems

Mentoring of technical team members
