We are seeking a qualified Architect with expertise in bulk infrastructure projects to join our client's team for a 36 months contract.The successful candidate will design innovative, cost-effective housing solutions and contribute to sustainable urban development projects.Our client in the Engineering sector is looking for an Architect to join their team for a project in KwaZulu Natal, Kwa Dukuza.Desired Qualifications and Skills :

Degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field.

Full registration as a Professional Architect (Pr.Arch.Tech / Pr Arch with SACAP (non-negotiable).

5+ years of experience in low-cost housing, urban design, and sustainable development projects.

Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and sustainable design principles.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Design low-cost housing and urban development projects, prioritizing sustainability and functionality.

Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D models for housing projects.

Conduct site analyses to ensure designs align with environmental and urban planning requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including municipalities and communities, to meet project objectives.

Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design standards.

Integrate sustainable materials and technologies to enhance energy efficiency and environmental impact.

Manage project documentation and present designs to clients and regulatory bodies.
