Experience in FMCG

Retail / merchandising experience working in Checkers / Shoprite will be advantageous.

Excellent analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service

Must be able to work overtime, Sundays and public holidays

Physically fit and strong

Based in Kuruman

Valid Driver’s License

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ensure sales drive to achieve set sales budget.

In-store stock management to prevent loss to company.

Manage shelve space accordingly to rate of sale.

Analyse orders vs rate of sale and stock count verification.

Manage all merchandisers in your area ko meet KPI.

Assist Depot Controllers to meet KPI

Assist Depot Controllers every second Saturday in receiving stock.

Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake

Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers

Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data

Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors
