D365 Accountant

Job Title : Accountant (6 Months Contract) Location : Sandton (Hybrid) Job Description Role Profile : The purpose of this role is to support FNZ SA finance function, including month-end activities and various day-to-day processes.This role reports to the Finance Manager and requires attention to detail and good communication skills to maintain high reporting standards.The successful candidate should possess a working knowledge of accounting standards and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Month End Processing : Assist with the preparation of month-end journalsReview bank reconciliationsReview accruals and prepayments monthlyAssist in expenditure review across the ledgerAssist in preparing monthly management accountsIntercompany : Prepare intercompany recharge workings and raise invoicesReconcile intercompany accounts monthlyLiaise with regional finance teams to resolve discrepanciesAP / AR Processing : Review purchase ordersProcess staff expense claimsHandle bank paymentsPrepare and post sales invoicesCommunicate with customers regarding invoicesAdditional responsibilities include contributing to ad hoc tasks as assigned by senior team members.Experience Required : Qualified (SAIPA, ACCA, CIMA, SAICA, or equivalent)Knowledge of IFRS standards through experience or auditExperience with finance software (e.g., Nav or D or similar) and data analytics software (e.g., Qlik, PowerBI)7-8 years of accounting experienceGood interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholdersThe role demands a confident, self-sufficient individual capable of managing workload effectively, working in a high-paced environment, and demonstrating high-quality work and attention to detail.FNZ values diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process.
