LM2 Warehouse Manager : Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume warehouse operations in the electrical retail sector.This role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of electrical products—from receiving and inventory control to dispatch—while managing a large team under pressure.The ideal candidate will thrive in a demanding environment and bring deep experience in logistics, inventory systems, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inbound LogisticsSupervise the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, including cables, fittings, lighting, and appliancesEnsure all deliveries are checked against purchase orders and accurately logged into the systemCoordinate with suppliers and transporters to manage delivery schedules and resolve discrepanciesPrioritize urgent or high-value items for expedited processingOversee unloading, sorting, and safe storage of productsInventory Management
Maintain real-time inventory accuracy using WMS / ERP systemsConduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventoriesInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptlyMonitor shelf-life and warranty-sensitive items (e.g., batteries, surge protectors)Optimize bin locations and racking for fast-moving SKUs and seasonal demandPeople & Team Leadership
Lead, train, and evaluate a large team of warehouse operatives, supervisors, and forklift driversDevelop shift schedules to support extended hours and peak periodsTrain staff on handling fragile and high-voltage items safely and efficientlyFoster a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvementConduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunitiesOperational Excellence
Implement and refine warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure compliance with health, safety, and electrical handling regulations (e.g., OSHA)Monitor and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, receiving turnaround, and inventory turnoverDrive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, picking speed, and dispatch accuracyCollaborate with procurement, logistics, and retail teams to align stock levels with demandRequirements
5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably in the electrical or hardware sectorProven ability to manage high-volume operations under pressureStrong leadership, team building, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in WMS / ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of electrical product handling and safety protocolsForklift license and experience managing MHE fleets (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks)EndFragment
