Key Purpose
The vacancy is for a graphic design role within the Discovery Corporate and Employee Benefits business unit. The role requires the Graphic Designer to create visual concepts to communicate, inform and captivate our stakeholders.. This will include a wide range of material such as mail templates, banners, brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, guides, newsletters, videos, etc.Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
Translate strategic direction and technical content into high-quality design using the brand identity.Liase and work with stakeholders to understand and determine their design requirementsDevelop concepts, graphics and layouts for Corporate and Employee Benefits product collateralDevelop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layoutManage workflow, prioritize tasks and keep stakeholders updated on progress and timelinesPrepare rough drafts, storyboards for discussion based on agreed briefReview final layouts, suggest improvements and enhancements if requiredUpdate and maintain design index, and library of open files, images etc.Keep abreast of and understand the latest trends and how they can be used and implemented within a corporate environmentWorking independently as well as cooperatively with the communications and marketing teams to meet deadlinesPersonal Attributes and Skills
