Qualifications and experience required :
- Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Business Administration, Project Management, or Human Resources Management.
- Valid drivers licence.
- 1015 years experience in contractor performance management, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Understanding of onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, talent development, and diversity
- Experience in contract law, SHE regulations, and performance governance.
- Familiarity with performance systems and compliance platforms (e.g., SAP, Passport 360).
- Proven leadership experience and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong background in risk management and performance-based reporting.
Responsibilities include :
Develop and implement contractor-specific safety and compliance programs.Monitor and enforce regulatory and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) compliance.Report to site leadership to maintain clear accountability for contractor performance.Design scalable contractor performance frameworks adaptable to different environments.Lead performance initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.Enhance governance and ensure adherence to legal, safety, and industry standards.Mitigate commercial, legal, and operational risks related to contractor performance.Lead a team of contract management professionals, including advisors and analysts.Use data and performance metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.Oversee onboarding, access control, and logistics for contractors.Collaborate with HR functions on contractor engagement and alignment with organisational culture.Support and lead social responsibility initiatives connected to contractor activity.Prepare and deliver performance reports with actionable insights to senior stakeholders.Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Promote continuous improvement in contractor processes and outcomes.Manage budgets and resources related to contractor performance functions.
