Transport Controller

Will be responsible for the following :

1. Plan, allocate, and monitor vehicle routes and driver schedules.

2. Ensure efficient fleet utilization and on-time deliveries.

3. Communicate job details, updates, and instructions to drivers.

4. Track vehicles in real time using transport management systems (TMS).

5. Resolve delivery issues and delays quickly and professionally.

6. Monitor driver hours and ensure compliance with legal regulations.

7. Liaise with customers regarding delivery windows and unique requirements.

8. Maintain accurate records of journeys, fuel usage, and transport costs.

9. Assist in performance reporting and KPI analysis.

10. Support vehicle maintenance scheduling and compliance checks.

11. Capturing diesel expenses for each truck from diesel invoices

12. Monitor and record Etoll fees

13. Manage wash bays

14. Update transport monthly income and expenses spreadsheet with VAF and insurance

15. Complete monthly cattle in and out sheet

16. Capturing mileages for trucks R&M
