Special Picker

An exciting position exists within Medipost for a Special Picker in Funded Production.The responsibility of the Special Picker is to pick Special meds and other parcels, prioritizing parcels according to scheduled dates and the priority list.To maintain the cold chain and ensure that all cold chain items are prioritized, the Special Picker will assist the Supervisor of Special meds with daily activities related to special medication.Key Responsibilities : Pick medication in the Oncology department.Pick according to the priority schedule.Keep errors to a minimum as defined by department measurables.Meet minimum output targets as defined by department measurables.Maintain cold chain as per product specificationsmunicate stock shortages to stock management.Assist in packing, replenishing, batching, and workflow components within the department.Ensure housekeeping compliance according to GPP requirements.Perform any other tasks as requested by line manager within the scope of employment.Key Skills : PrioritizingDeadline-orientedAttention to detailWilling to do overtime or stay late depending on departmental needsQualifications : Grade 12 (Matric)Registered as Learner with SAPCExperience : Computer literacyPrevious picking experiencePrevious pharmacy industry experiencePass Medipost Learnership pre-assessmentSAPC registrationMedipost Holdings is committed to promoting employment equity and encourages applications from persons with disabilities to create a diverse and equitable workplace.Closing Statement : We are committed to building a team that reflects diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
