Maintenance Specialist

SUMMARY :

An exceptional opportunity exists for a Maintenance Specialist to join a high-performing engineering team and report to the Preventive Maintenance Manager.

POSITION INFO :

This role is critical in ensuring operational continuity and safety across the plant and mining operations. You will lead the planning and execution of preventive maintenance, coordinate shutdowns, and drive optimal resource allocation through SAP and technical best practices. This position requires solid experience in heavy industry maintenance planning, excellent coordination abilities, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Minimum Requirements :

• Matric with Mathematics (essential)
• SAQA Accredited N5 (Electrical / Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification
• 5+ years’ maintenance experience in a heavy environment
• 5+ years’ experience in shutdown planning and plant maintenance
• Proficient in SAP MRP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills
