Position : Director of Brand Partnership
Working Schedule : 8a-5p PST
Salary Range : $3500-$4000 (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Brand Partnerships who blends creativity and commercial instinct — someone who can dream up a limited-edition collaboration with a top chef and set up a system to reach out to 100 partners efficiently. This is a hybrid role : part brand builder, part business developer, part creative strategist.
You’ll partner with other brands, creators, influencers, and retailers — identifying opportunities that grow brand equity and drive performance. From launching fragrances with tastemakers to negotiating distribution with boutique stores, your work will shape how our brands show up in the world. You’ll also support early M&A outreach, helping us surface promising brands and connect with founders in the earliest stages of a deal.
Key Responsibilities
Brand, Creator & Retail Partnerships
- Identify and build relationships with like-minded brands, individuals, and boutique retailers
- Launch flavor, fragrance, or product collaborations that are buzzworthy and ROI-positive
- Architect and negotiate co-branded campaigns, drops, and activations that elevate brand equity
- Find thoughtful distribution or partnership opportunities outside traditional e-commerce
Systems & Outreach
Design and manage outbound systems to reach 100+ potential partners and measure responseBuild internal processes for partnership evaluation, execution, and trackingMaintain a balance between high-touch relationship building and scalable outbound systemsCreative & Strategic Thinking
Ensure every partnership feels on-brand, consumer-first, and voice-alignedCollaborate with brand managers and creative teams to bring partnership ideas to lifeAct as both the idea generator and the follow-through executorAnalytics & Reporting

Help Pathfinder identify promising acquisition targets by monitoring emerging brands and reaching out to foundersBuild relationships with early-stage operators, investors, and communities in target categoriesSupport the acquisition pipeline by initiating conversations, evaluating brand fit, and feeding insights to the deal teamRequirements
5+ years of experience in brand partnerships, strategic alliances, or business development, preferably in consumer, tech, media, or lifestyle sectors.A proven partnership-builder with a track record of structuring and closing high-value collaborations in brand, agency, or marketplace settingsEqually comfortable dreaming big and working small — from pitching major strategic concepts to crafting the first outreach emailStrong communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to present, persuade, and build trust across stakeholdersHighly strategic thinker with a bias for execution — able to move from insight to action with clarity and speedAnalytical and systems-minded — comfortable evaluating ROI, tracking KPIs, and refining outreach and partnership processesResilient and resourceful — not afraid to test, iterate, and try again; this role is for a builder, not just a managerExceptionally strong in relationship-building and negotiation, with a deep network of brand and agency contactsA self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote, and highly collaborative environmentBonus : Experience in wellness, food & beverage, personal care, or retail e-commercePreferred Qualifications
