Job description

Duties :

Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and supply
Ensure PPE is being correctly worn relevant to the company’s policy and sub-contractors RAMs
Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
Participate in safety initiatives
Ensure all materials delivered to site to meet production needs
Ensure that all additional work is identified and that the site team are fully aware of all potential opportunities and risks
Communicate any project issues / risks to site team to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks
Embrace those sustainable practices relevant to your role, helping to identify opportunities for improvement
Attend daily meetings regarding daily progress and upcoming works
Sending emails to relevant contractors regarding conversations held on site
Call off materials
Quality checks of installation works completed

Location : Africa – Various sites

Start : Q1 2023

Qualifications Required :

Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations

Certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition

Experience required :

Excellent organisational, time management and people skills, with an ability and confidence to coordinate and direct third party contractors and employees

A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills

Previous experience leading teams of Electricians, taking operational responsibility for the Electrical service delivery on the site

Good Health & Safety knowledge
