Job descriptionPrepare accurate weekly sales forecasts against budget Meeting monthly and annual sales targets in line with budget Sourcing new business and grow the sales in line with company strategy and targeted business opportunities Prepare monthly sales report and analyse and comment on variances Provide the business with sales forecasts ensuring that we have the right products at the right time Manage price increases with customers effectively Ensure that price tables are done timeously and correctly Customer surveys Ensuring we manage our customer engagements and feedback inline with FSSC and ISO requirements Be informed of our competitor’s activity, pricing strategies, customer perceptions of them etc. Have at least 2-3 years sales experience Minimum a Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous) Have a proven track record in sales An ability to prepare budgets and targets An understanding of the plastics / packaging industry would be advantageous FMCG sales experience essential Computer Literacy (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT) Must have a valid driver’s license An ability to see opportunities and grasp them Analytical ability A high need for achievement Resilience Self-discipline and driven to succeed
My client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant.
Duties include : Customer Service
- Build strong relationships with customers personally and professionally
- To really understand the customers business and provide them with packaging solutions
- Attend to customer complaints effectively
- Ensure we are going the extra mile to delight our customers
- Proactively manage 4 weekly calling plan to ensure all customers are visited at required frequency
