Purpose StatementAssume end-to-end responsibility for a credit intelligence workstream through : Leading and guiding the delivery of complex analytical output.Leading the identification, development, implementation, and maintenance of new credit intelligence strategies and solutions.Addressing business problems related to the credit intelligence workstream.Building and maintaining statistical models to inform credit intelligence decision-making.Providing guidance and technical oversight to junior team members.ExperienceMinimum : 4 - 6 years' experience in retail credit analysis (including programming in SQL / SAS / R / Python, descriptive and diagnostic analytics, statistical modelling, and data visualisation).

In case of Honours degree : 3 - 5 years' experience in retail credit analysis (including SQL programming and descriptive analytics).Additional RequirementsExperience in credit intelligence performance and optimisation.Ideal : Experience in assuming a leadership role during a project.Portfolio-specific experience.Capitec Bank experience.QualificationsMinimum : Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Statistics.Preferred : A relevant postgraduate degree in Finance or Statistics.Knowledge & SkillsStrong communication, leadership, presentation, and reporting skills.Conditions of EmploymentClear criminal and credit record.
