Senior Tour Consultant (Work From Home)

A well-established Travel and Tour Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Tour Consultant to join their dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of South Africa and neighboring countries, including accommodation, activities, transport, and routings.

Provide accurate quotes based on clients' needs.

Liaise with agents regarding requests, bookings, and related inquiries.

Maintain strong relationships with agents and clients.

Operate tours (group series, one-off groups, FITs, MICE) from start to finish, overseeing all aspects including accounting.

Ensure adherence to company procedures, including filing systems and system updates.

Understand and operate Lemax, TripClip, and Wetu; train to be fully operational on the LE MAX system.

Use Google tools (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.)

Take initiative with attention to detail.

Develop Guide Manuals, supporting documentation, and conduct briefing / debriefing of tourist guides.

Prepare detailed travel documents for FIT travelers.

Work collaboratively with enthusiasm to assist colleagues and contribute to team targets.

Show energy and passion for learning about travel.

Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing internally and externally.

Maintain professionalism and high service levels at all times.

Handle pressure and volume, multitasking efficiently.

Perform general administrative tasks such as filing.

Identify problems and help find solutions.

Assist with crisis management and handling of complaints by gathering feedback from suppliers and guides.

Support with annual tour series, costings, and proposals.

Package & Remuneration R 25 - R 29 CTC pm.

Depending on experience) Set up a home office and work full-time remotely.

Attend meetings and commitments online and in person at the Cape Town office as needed, including monthly team gatherings and biannual team weekends.
