Your Role
As Sales Consultant,you will be the driving force behind closing new clients for Skill Forge bysetting appointments, conducting consultative sales conversations, andconverting demos into signed deals. You’ll play a key role in refining oursales processes and helping businesses connect deeply with their idealcustomers using strategic scorecard funnels.
Your 90-Day Mission
- Close a minimum of 12 new scorecardclients (average 4 per month)
- Conduct at least 5 qualified prospectconversations weekly
- Achieve target of closing at least 1 dealper week (approximately 4 deals per month)
- Follow up on demos promptly to convertleads within a 30-day window
KeyResponsibilities
Convert discovery calls and demos intosigned clients through consultative sales techniquesGenerate and nurture outbound leads usingemail sequences, LinkedIn engagement, and tools like Apollo.ioBuild and manage automated email marketingcampaigns using Odoo (or similar CRM)Collaborate with the founder to optimizemessaging, positioning, and outreach strategiesMaintain accurate sales pipeline data andreport KPIs weeklyDesired Skills& Experience
Minimum of 3 years proven experience inB2B consultative sales, closing mid-ticket deals (~R10k–R50k)Confident cold outreach and leadgeneration expertise via email, LinkedIn, Apollo.io, or similarFamiliarity with marketing automationplatforms; experience with Odoo or ScoreApp is a plusA proactive self-starter who thrives inautonomous, goal-driven rolesExceptional written and verbalcommunication skills with ability to craft compelling messagesCompensation &Performance
Base : R8,000 / monthCommission : 10% on each closed deal (averagedeal ~R12,000) plus ongoing 10% commission on recurring revenue from yourclients while subscribed and in good standingCommissions are paid monthly based onactual collected revenue after discountsYou are responsible for your own taxfilings in accordance with South African lawPerformance will be reviewed at the3-month mark, with monthly check-ins, for contract extension considerationWhy Join Us?
