We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Agile methodologies and Jira Project Management to develop targeted short courses for various project management roles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile practices and Jira functionalities and the ability to create engaging training materials for diverse professional audiences.
Responsibilities
- Course Design & Development : Create modular courses (outlines, lessons, case studies, and assessments) on Agile, Jira, QA, and AI-driven project management practices that are aligned with client requirements and the quality guidelines specified in the client rubric.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure course relevancy and accuracy.
- Translate complex financial workflows into accessible, hands-on learning experiences.
- Use real-world examples and develop practical case studies, scenario-based exercises, handouts, and automated templates to enhance practical application.
- Update content based on client feedback and best practices.
- Possess knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Demonstrate experience in Agile metrics, product ownership strategies, and transformation practices for scaling Agile.
- Build content on the fundamental and advanced skills for the following job roles : Agile Coach, Agile Product Owner, Scrum Master, Project Manager, PMO Analyst, Executive Communication, and Agile Metrics Specialist
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for project management, including backlog management and sprint tracking
- Develop advanced content on the fundamental and advanced skills for the following job roles : Jira Expert / Jira Admin Expert / Jira Admin, Jira Configuration, Jira Automation Specialist / Jira Automation Expert, Jira Customization, Jira Reporting, and Jira Governance Specialist
- 4. QA & Test Management : Create specialized modules on the fundamental and advanced skills for the following job roles : QA / Test Management and Manual tester and QA Specialist
- AI for Project Management : Develop modules on skills needed for AI for Project Management including knowledge of AI tools and techniques for sprint planning, predictive analytics, risk forecasting, and automation; determine ways to integrate AI-driven insights into Agile processes and Jira environments; advise on using AI for Project Management to enhance forecasting, risk management, and overall project efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMaster’s degree or relevant certifications such as Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, or Jira Administration is a plus.Expertise in Agile project management and Jira, with a focus on training or coaching.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.Previous experience in a corporate training environment is highly desirable.Utilize standardized Google Suite templates (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for course outlines, checklists, feedback, and version control within Google Suite to preserve formatting, change tracking, comments, and updates, avoiding complications caused by conversion to other platforms like Microsoft Office.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Employment details
