Khawulezaa Africa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background across the full HR value chain, with particular strength in payroll processing, industrial relations (IR), COIDA claims, and HR reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and process the full payroll function accurately and timeously.
Oversee all Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including disciplinary hearings, consultations, and grievance procedures.
Handle all COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act) claims and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Prepare and submit regular HR reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee wellness initiatives.
Maintain and update employee records in accordance with company policy and labour laws.
Provide expert HR advice and ensure adherence to all statutory requirements.
Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
Proven experience in payroll administration, IR case management, and COIDA processes.
Excellent knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
Strong reporting and analytical skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
