An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Laboratory Analyst to assist with the analyses of finished products at their production facility, based in Benoni.

Minimum requirements for the role :

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Analytical Chemistry or similar

Solid hands-on experience with HPLC is extremely essential

Must be able to work independently and produce professional reports, effectively relaying results

Good communication and written skills are important

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

Analyzing products using HPLC instruments and performing physical chemistry checks.

Compiling storage stability or other study reports as required and researching necessary information.

Maintaining lab instruments.

Managing housekeeping duties, including compiling and filing sample paperwork.

Assisting with ISO 17025 and other accreditation procedures.

Receiving samples and labelling them for identification.

Developing formulations.

Preparing samples.

Assisting in the manufacturing plant when needed.

Assisting with other relevant tasks as required by management.

Being assigned as the 16.2 responsible person for the storage of dangerous goods, with training provided.
