Job Purpose
To develop and implement appropriate solutions in the form of value propositions to meet or exceed all sales goals, performance quotas, and process expectations in the relevant region. To provide tactical and operational leadership and support to the regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain and expand the customer base by building and maintaining good relationships with key customers and recognizing new customer opportunities. Understand key customers’ operations, strategies, and trends. Gather regional market intelligence on national and key regional accounts. Manage regional resources to achieve strategic objectives. Ensure customer service policies are implemented and maintained. Resolve escalated customer queries professionally.
Supply Chain and Distribution Management
Manage regional stock availability issues with depots. Oversee the regional order-taking process.
Regional Budget Management
Drive the achievement of regional sales budgets in volume and control sales costs.
Regional Management
Lead the regional team towards meeting strategic objectives through communication and talent management. Manage succession plans, training, performance appraisals, and team development. Conduct weekly management meetings. Manage employee relations, monitor team performance, and support team members to achieve objectives.

Key Relationships
Internal : Demand and supply planning, regional operations teams, call center teams, customer teams.
External : Regional customers.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Qualifications and Experience : Degree in management, business administration, or marketing. Valid Code EB driver’s license. 5-8 years' experience in sales and marketing, managing customer relationships and sales teams.
Skills and Competencies : Leadership, business insight, customer service focus, engagement, planning, negotiation, project management, computer literacy (MS Office, SAP), communication, report writing, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic thinking, sales and marketing strategies.
