A 9 Roomed High End Luxury Game Lodge located near Montagu in the Western Cape. There are plans for further expansion on the reserve over time. This role and person will contribute to and be a part of that growth, hopefully long term.Job DescriptionOur Client seeks a competent Assistant General Manager with a proven track record in managing all operations of a 4 / 5

• Game Lodge, with strong Food and Beverage background. Will report to General Manager and Owners directly. Opening experience is a strong advantage. We are seeking a well-rounded gutsy individual who can operationally manage all departments with distinction, with authority, and think on one’s feet. Great Hosting skills. Ability to bring a team together and alleviate the pressures competently from the owners from an operations perspective so that they can spend more time on the reserve and strategy for the brand. Strong Food and Beverage service knowledge required but also strong operationally in other departments. QualificationsRelevant Hospitality Qualifications ideal. Strong Food and Beverage background.SkillsEmotionally stable, even tempered and calm when faced with challenges. Fit, Active, Healthy with good energy levels. Able to manage with distinction. Able to work cohesively with the Owners and Manger on site, to alleviate their pressures and strain from an operational management point of view. Trustworthy, competent, driven, Guest Focused. Must have a thorough understanding of the Cape Town / Western Cape Market. Must have a strong food and Beverage background. Entrepreneurial mindset.
