Job descriptionMinimum matric / grade 12. Tertiary education is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Soil Science or related field (Master’s is an advantage). Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural technologies. A commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb interpersonal skills. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Must own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone. Market related basic salary. Plus quarterly incentives based on performance. Associate Full-time Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Machinery Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction, Mining Machinery Manufacturing, and Industrial Machinery Manufacturing
Job Responsibilities
- Meeting monthly sales targets.
- Prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support product lines (business units).
- Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote company's products and services.
- Build and maintain relations with new and existing clients.
- Maintain & update activities on CRM.
- Monitor the industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports to line manager.
- Support farmers and agribusinesses in adopting modern equipment.
- Conduct field demonstrations, workshops, and training for farmers and staff.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
