We are seeking an UAS Electrical Instructor AME to join our team. We are seeking a qualified UAS Electrical Instructor and Technician to join our team. This role combines instructional responsibilities in UAS electrical systems with hands-on technical expertise in maintenance and repair.
Requirements & Qualifications
Instructor Duties :
- Develop and deliver training modules on UAS electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring harnesses, control systems, and payloads.
- Conduct practical training sessions to educate personnel on electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair techniques specific to UAS.
- Create instructional materials such as manuals, presentations, and simulations to enhance learning effectiveness.
Technician Duties :
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of UAS electrical components and systems.Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure UAS electrical systems meet operational standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and improve UAS electrical designs and performance.Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certification outcomes.Prepare detailed technical reports on UAS electrical maintenance, repairs, and operational issues.Safety and Compliance :
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during training sessions and maintenance activities.Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to UAS electrical systems and operations.Requirements :
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or a related field.Proven experience (minimum 5 years) working with UAS or similar electrical systems in the aviation industry.In-depth knowledge of UAS electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring diagrams, avionics, and associated subsystems.Previous experience in instructional roles, delivering technical training preferred.Certification in UAS operations and maintenance is highly advantageous.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Consent :
