CNC Milling Programmer and Operator

Requirements

• Must be able to draw and program in Edgecam
• Must be able to use 2D and 3D drawings in Edgecam
• Must be able to generate toolpaths in Edgecam and use them on Haas and Hurco CNC Milling machines
• Must be familiar with DXF, DWG, IGES, XT files
• Must be able to setup and operate Haas and Hurco CNC Milling machines
• Must be able to select correct tools and cutters for the job
• Must be able to work to tight tolerances, +- 0.02mm
• Must be able to measure parts according to drawing specifications, and ensure the parts meet the drawings within tolerances specified
• Must have worked on toolsteel in the soft, pre-hardened and hardened state upto 54 HRC
• Must be able to run multiple parts on CNC with different G codes (offsets)
• Must be able to clock jobs using edge finder, finger clock, probe, etc
• Experience in plastic injection moulds will be an advantage
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience doing the above proficiently
